Local Family Dinner, the Peace Dream Edition. This Saturday 11th April
Dinner lovingly prepared and served by asylum seekers, refuges and recent arrivals. This Saturday at Parliament on King, 632 King St, from 6pm until 9pm.
Please, we’d love you to come.
We’re training asylum seekers, refugees and recent arrivals in hospitality, Local Family Dinners run as a social enterprise, part of a project we call ‘The International Shift’ and our best graduates get to take over the café to prepare and serve dinner.
The evening is about love, friendship and understanding, it’s about creating connections between us all that strengthen our community and enrich our lives.
This special dinner will be hopefuly be the first of a regular Local Family Saturday Dinners - we’d love you to be part of it.
Think of it as a dinner party with new friends from around the world.
It’s best to reserve a place, just email myintuition@yahoo.com or call us on 0414 235 325. Dinner is served from 6.00 until 8.30 and is just $15 and wines and beers will be available.
For the evening we’ll be serving a mix of vegetarian Indian, Sri Lankan Chinese and Persian dishes, they’ll be marvellous.
Come and make some new friends, share some love, and make some new arrivals feel welcome.

Where: Parliament on King, 632 King St, the Erskineville end of King about 50 metres up from St Peters Station
When: Saturday 11th April, with dinner served from 6.00pm until 9.00 pm.
